Designed from two equal-sized rectangles, the Button Bay Ruana shawl is seamed halfway in the back and left open in the front. As the panels are joined together, a border of 2″ is added along the bottom edge on the front and back. For added length and/or width, add stitches to the foundation row or work more rows in the center of each panel. An appropriate adjustment will need to be made to the yarn amounts.
