Phoenix Wings Shawl Crochet Pattern

CREDITS: © Elaine Phillips

This shawl is called Phoenix Wings because of its vertical stripes that resemble feathers, as well as the color-changing yarn that reminds us of a warm fire, or a sunset. Crochet the shawl sideways, starting at the pointy end. A combination of black yarn and self-striping yarn is used to make the shawl. Black yarn stripes are worked in dc while self-striping yarn stripes are worked in double dtrs.
