Inspiration for this shawl came from patterns of similar garments from the nineteenth century. This shawl’s v-shape makes it easy to wrap around and meet nicely, while the fringe at the bottom adds an extra layer of length and gives it a nice flow. Using granny stitch, the body is created and looks best with a yarn that has some drape. The sweater is quick to make and has a little weight to it, which makes it a good choice for colder weather.
